Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the operational schedule for public transport services during Ramadan in Dubai. This update applies to services such as metro, buses, and tram, among others, and will be effective from March 9, 2024.
According to the RTA, the timings of various transportation services in Dubai will be adjusted during the holy month of Ramadan.
Parking Facilities
Parking fees will apply to all public parking spaces in Dubai from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Saturday.
Metro Timings
Red Line:
- Weekdays (Sunday to Wednesday): 5:00 AM to 12:00 AM.
- Thursdays: 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day).
- Fridays: 5:00 AM to 12:00 AM.
- Saturdays: 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM.
Green Line:
- Weekdays (Sunday to Wednesday): 5:00 AM to 12:00 AM.
- Thursdays: 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day).
- Fridays: 5:00 AM to 12:00 AM.
- Saturdays: 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM.
Tram Timings
- Weekdays (Monday to Saturday): 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM.
- Sundays: 9:00 AM to 1:00 AM.
Bus Timings
Dubai Bus:
- Weekdays (Sunday to Wednesday): 4:30 AM to 12:30 AM.
- Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays: 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM.
Metro Link Bus: Metro link buses will coordinate with the metro timings.
Customer Care Centers: The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority’s customer care centers will operate from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM on Fridays.
The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority’s bright customer happiness centers, located in Umm Al Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Kifaf, and the Head Office, will provide services 24 hours a day.
