In a groundbreaking move, the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) in Abu Dhabi announced the provision of free Wi-Fi in 44 public parks across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah. Starting December 15, this initiative by the Abu Dhabi Municipality aims to enhance general connectivity and provide seamless internet access to residents and visitors.
Imagine browsing the internet seamlessly when your phone data runs dry. The UAE’s telecommunication providers, du and Etisalat, have partnered to offer free Wi-Fi access in various public locations, making it convenient for individuals to stay connected without relying on their cellular data.
The initiative is not limited to specific locations; it extends to popular spots such as Abu Dhabi Corniche and Al Bateen Beach. This strategic approach ensures that people can enjoy free Wi-Fi wherever they go.
