In a bid to alleviate the burden on motorists facing fines in Abu Dhabi, the Integrated Transport Center (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport has introduced the ‘Easy Payment’ service, allowing credit card holders from First Abu Dhabi Bank, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Emirates Islamic Bank, and others to benefit from this initiative. The project, slated to include more banks in the coming months, commences its first phase in 2024.
The Easy Payment service permits individuals to settle their traffic fines in installments, with a minimum value of AED 3,000. Users can access this service through TAMM service centers or customer happiness centers in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Additionally, customers with credit cards from participating banks can take advantage of this service, streamlining the process of fine settlement.
The service offers flexible payment plans for those looking to manage their fines more efficiently. Vehicle owners can choose from three, six, nine, or twelve months as their preferred installment period. The initiative aims to provide convenience to users, ensuring they can manage their financial commitments effectively.
The Easy Payment service simplifies the delicate payment process, eliminating the need for penalties for various durations. Users can opt for this service through TAMM service centers or by visiting customer happiness centers in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain City. With this initiative, the Integrated Transport Center seeks to enhance customer satisfaction by facilitating smoother payment procedures.
To expand accessibility, the service collaborates with banks to offer customers a hassle-free experience. Users holding credit cards from partner banks can seamlessly settle their fines, fostering a more convenient and efficient process. The initiative emphasizes the importance of collaborative efforts to benefit the community.
Introducing the Easy Payment service by the Integrated Transport Center marks a significant step towards easing the financial burden on individuals facing traffic fines in Abu Dhabi. This innovative approach provides flexible payment options and enhances user satisfaction by streamlining the delicate settlement process. As the project expands to include more banks, it is expected to contribute positively to the overall experience of residents in Abu Dhabi.
